I have an incredible engine now, growling, VERY pleasing to use, no error code showing, and the O2 has not been touched. THE FLASH WORKS PERFECTLY WITHOUT TOUCHING ANYTHING. My bike is stock (no mod other than flash, no drilled exhaust or intake or anything). Ok guys, I have the answer to my own question, both by Ivan's partner AND my own testing (and Cornerback's testimony, thank you pal). If it's the case, it would be nice to have a sticky subject stating this, to avoid anyone trying to do an outdated mod for nothing I was told that "doesn't matter if you have it connected as o2 closed loop feedback is disabled", so this means that every topic stating that there is something to do with O2 (cutting/disconnecting wires, unplugging the sensor.) is outdated, right? Or I didn't understand the statement (possible, english is not my native language)? So, I'm getting my ECU flashed by the european garage working with Ivan in Greece, should get the ECU back tomorrow or the day after.īut I'm wondering if the O2 sensor NEEDS to be disconnected for recent flashes. Maybe this topic has beed adressed previously, but as the search bar doesn't allow to search terms with 3 letters or less, there is no way to include "ECU", "mod", and "O2" when looking for info :yuck:
